Shenandoah Brown, a member of the Secular Franciscan Order, has spent 10 years of research and study expanding lessons developed for Religious Education classes into this work.

Her husband and helper, Jim, is a retired US Navy Religious Program Specialist with a BS degree in Business and Religious Studies from Regis University. Jim has taught religious education at all levels for over 30 years in civilian and military parishes worldwide. While stationed on Okinawa they were the coordinators for the RCIA process on Kadena AFB. It was the dearth of local resources that caused them to develop their own curriculum and lessons, which have become this book
